Farmstead Adventure Camp – Week 4
August 3, 2015 - August 7, 2015
Join our farm family for the week and make memories that last a lifetime! For the last 9 years, we have provided the ultimate “fun on the farm” day camp. We have a passion for youth and strive to deliver an unforgettable, rewarding, and refreshing hands-on dairy farm experience. Participants will soak up the fresh farm air, learn where their milk and dairy products come from, experience real daily farm chores, and care for their own calf; all while having a blast! Activities include:
- hayrides and nature walks
- see a cow give birth
- lead, wash, clip and show your own calf
- scavenger hunts and dairy jeopardy
- obstacle course and water games
- make homemade ice cream, butter, milkshakes
- milk a cow, see our milking parlor and facilities
- make homemade milk paint for crafts
